Fans of Almanac Beer Co.’s creative brews will soon have a place to drink them all together. The company, founded by Jesse Friedman and Damian Fagan, will open a taproom this fall, offering a large selection of their fresh beers, as well as food.
Because Almanac does not have a physical brewery (they operate by brewing under the licenses of other local breweries), this is the first time the company will be able to exclusively serve its own beers. Though he’s not ready to announce the taproom’s exact location yet, Friedman says he’s excited to have a place to call home.
“Almanac Beer was born and has always had it’s heart in SF, and we’re so excited to finally have a space to call our own.” co-founder Jesse Friedman told Eater. “We love the food and beer culture of this city, and can’t wait to have Almanac have it’s own place that you can come into and say ‘THIS is Almanac!’ and make our own contribution to the city we love.” There’ll be bottles of some of their unique vintage bottles like the Farmer’s Reserve series, as well as fresh beers like the San Francisco IPA on tap (and available to go, in growlers).
Stay tuned for more details, and check out their Stranger Things-themed announcement below.
