San Francisco’s homegrown burger chain Super Duper Burger is ready to leave the nest. The fast food burger spot now has ten locations in the Bay Area, with three more stores on the way in San Francisco International Airport, Berkeley, and Concord. With the news of its SFO location also comes the announcement that restaurateur Adriano Paganini is ready to take the brand international.
Paganini and his team are in talks to expand internationally, though those plans have not yet been finalized. What is certain is that SFO’s Super Duper will debut in early 2018 in Terminal 1.
It’s been nearly seven years of growing the SF-ethos (all-natural, organic, compostable products whenever possible) burger joint to this point, which started in the Castro. That location is also undergoing changes, with an expansion into the space next door.
The Berkeley (2355 Telegraph Ave.) and Concord (The Veranda, 2001-2003 Diamond Blvd.) locations will open this year, before SFO goes live. Stay tuned for more.
