ChefsGiving scores major donations
With a week of fundraising that culminated in a Gala on Sunday, November 19, ChefsGiving raised a projected $750,000 for the Tipping Point Emergency Relief Fund and Restaurants Care in an effort to provide relief to victims of the North Bay fires. Participating restaurants included Rich Table, Slanted Door, Outerlands, August (1) Five, and many more, and a silent auction at the Gala included items like a dinner with chef Dominique Crenn at her farm, which garnered $30,000.
And so does For the Love of Sonoma
Meanwhile, a concert last Saturday hosted by The Family Coppola at the Green Music Center in Rohnert Park and headlined by The Counting Crows raised more than $230,000 for fire relief initiatives North Bay Fire Relief Fund and Noma Gives.
New chocolatier for Cow Hollow

Hahn’s specialties include macarons, bonbons, cupcakes, and even ice cream by the pint.
Free cookie alert
Mrs. Fields — founded in Palo Alto by Mrs. Debbi Fields in 1977 — will hand out 400 free cookies at each of its more than 300 locations next Monday, December 4th, because it’s National Cookie Day, or something — any excuse will do. Locally that includes stores at the Westfield Shopping Center, Pier 39, and the Stonestown Galleria.
