Over Proof, the quarterly changing cocktail-bar-in-residence at ABV, is ready for round two, following the success of its rum-themed debut. The follow-up, called Double Back, launches May 3. This time, it’s whiskey-focused and channels the vibe of Tokyo’s saloon-style drinking dens. That means a ton of kitschy trinkets mixed in with a wild West vibe, from a stuffed raccoon and a hide on the wall, to swinging saloon doors.
Cocktails will incorporate whiskies from around the world, including Scotland, Japan, and America. A long list of rare whiskies will be available, including several Van Winkles,
Per usual, there will be food to accompany the cocktails—this time around the menu incorporates a steady stream of Japanese flavors, like a koji-marinated hanger steak with uni butter. Check out the full menu of food and cocktails below.

Reservations can be made here for the $60 tasting menu (plus tax and tip) experience, which is available May 3rd-July 28th, with seatings at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
