Beck, who is not a terribly regular person, nonetheless appears to have a regular order at Jackson Square restaurant Trestle. Yes, the Hi Neighbor Restaurant Group’s restaurant serves a prix fixe menu with just a few choices, but the artist decided on the same items two nights in a row this week.
Customers on Tuesday, October 23 might have spotted the musician in the restaurant dining on delicata squash salad, aged white cheddar risotto, and flat iron steak. According to a representative for Trestle, he then called in a special delivery order of the same items to AT&T Park ahead of his show there on Wednesday, October 24 (part of Oracle’s Dreamforce conference). An indulgent move, yes, but Trestle’s representative would surely point out that it’s just a $38 prix fixe.
Sean Schoeben, formerly of Wolfgang Puck, Spago and Heritage, recently replaced Claudio Dell’Anno as Trestle’s chef, with Hi Neighbor executive chef Jason Halverson overseeing the restaurant generally. Note that Schoeben’s menu changes frequently, which could potentially perplex Beck or other customers seeking to precisely recreate his evening in the future.
