But first, they’re trying to finish all the booze

Marina tavern Stock in Trade has just a week or so to tap the kegs and polish off the bottles before closing for good after six years in business. The team behind Polk corridor watering hole R Bar and the Nob Hill sports bar The Wreck room opened their Marina establishment at 2036 Lombard in 2012, serving pub grub and shots to late night partiers ever since. But in a farewell note posted to their Facebook page late last week, the team bids adieu to the Marina party crowd, announcing a series of final events before closing by May.

”Stock in Trade has been sold and will close its doors at the end of April. It’s been an incredible run and we appreciate everybody who has supported us over the years, we truly loved being a part of your lives and hosting all the birthdays, engagement parties, graduation celebrations, rowdy brunches and late night dancing. We will miss all of you and this great community we’ve been blessed to be partnered with.”

Eater SF has reached out for further details. In the meantime, a series of final week events is listed here, including last ditch bottomless brunches and a potentially lethal sounding “bottomless dinner” on Thursday that will “include premium wines and top-shelf alcohol.”

“Expect to be drinking the good stuff for an all-inclusive $21 as we deplete the expensive inventory.”

What could possibly go wrong.
