The Warriors may have triumphed over the Spurs in Oakland last night, but the real winners were celebrity food person Guy Fieri and hyphy rap hero/beverage entrepreneur E-40. The perhaps odd bedfellows were both seen court side, generating memes that Fieri has even responded to — stoking speculation that he and E-40 are working on an album and cookbook.

Buffalo Theory opens for Sunday Brunch
Polk Street beer temple Buffalo Theory rolled out its first Sunday brunch service this past weekend, with chilaquiles, biscuits and gravy, and Filipino-influenced dishes including hangover hash with a sisig pork medley from chef Lawrence Lee. Owners Gil Hoh and Quinn Wong are opening the doors for brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., plus pouring beer from 42 taps at their 1735 Polk Street home.

Chef Telmo Faria’s slice of Lisbon in Noe Valley, Uma Casa (at 1550 Church Street) has a guest pastry chef in the house this weekend, Jeremiah Duarte Bills. A contestant on ABC’s The Great American Baking Show, Bills is currently at work on a cookbook about Portuguese cuisine, and he’s showing off some recipes on Sunday, April 29th, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Portland’s Lardo pop-up, delivered
Portland sandwich sensation Lardo is showing up in San Francisco on Friday the 27th for a one-time only pop-up, but if fans can’t make it to the Dogpatch to the ticketed event, they’re in luck: A very limited number of sandwiches will be available on Caviar on the evening of the 27th, so keep an eye out.
