Here Are the Bay Area Winners of the 2018 James Beard Foundation Media Awards

Part one of the James Beard Foudnation Awards took place last night in New York, as media was honored for excellence in a variety of categories. Previously called the Book, Broadcast, and Journalism Awards, the ceremony included awards for books, broadcast media like podcasts and television, and journalism.

Many San Francisco restaurant cookbooks and authors made it to the final round, including State Bird Provisions cookbook, and Offal by Chris Cosentino. This year’s big Bay Area winners are below. Check out the full list here.
