Trick Dog Teams Up With Tattoo Shop for Cocktail Menu #13

It looks like a tattoo flash sheet

It’s that time of year again: Trick Dog is unveiling a new menu today. The Mission cocktail bar completely overhauls its high-concept menus twice a year, and the 13th edition is fittingly named Lucky Number 13, featuring 13 tattoo-themed drinks.

The new menu is the result of a collaboration with Idle Hand Tattoo, a shop in the Lower Haight. The physical menu looks like a flash sheet — the way tattoo shops display their designs — with cocktails named after and accompanying Idle Hand’s original drawings of tattoos. Among them are Rock of Ages (rue, Dubonnet Rouge, pistachio vermouth, loganberry liqueur, absinthe, kelp) and Rose of Death (vodka, Lillet Blanc, blue curaçao, crème de cassis, carrot, ginger, lime, white pepper, egg white). Peep the full offerings below.

As with past menus (including a cookbook, aviation themed-cocktails, and a mural project), this one comes with a charity element: Folks can buy a poster version of the tattoo menu, screen-printed by Lil Tuffy, for $20-$40 to benefit the San Francisco Rock Project, a nonprofit music school for kids.

You have until early July to experience Lucky Number 13 before Trick Dog’s next menu arrives.
