These 12 Special Burgers Are Only Available For Eater Burger Week

Eater Burger Week only comes once every other year, so in honor of this momentous occasion, a bunch of awesome restaurants have stepped up to offer special burgers for this week only. From now through Friday, the burgers below will be at your disposal, and the concoctions at hand have gotten pretty insane: foie and white truffles; avocado, arugula and Wagon Wheel cheese; a Jameson-sauced burger with a shot of Jameson on the side. And if that wasn't enough, all restaurants that appear with an asterisk are donating $1 from the purchase of each Burger Week burger to the SF Food Bank. Now that's juicy.

Aveline's burger is normally only available at brunch, but in honor of Burger Week, they're adding it to every menu, including the one at next-door sister bar The European. It's topped with mustard aioli, goat cheddar, and a fried egg, and served on a housemade bun with fries.

Bluestem Brasserie*

Bluestem has brought back their completely absurd Super Burger for Burger Week. It's a beef burger stuffed with pepperjack cheese, then topped with crispy pork belly, smashed avocado, an egg, sriracha-green tomato "spread," and shredded romaine. And if that wasn't enough, it comes with truffle parmesan fries.

Burger Bar is offering two creations for Burger Week: the Hubert Keller Burger, a buffalo patty with caramelized onions, baby spinach, blue cheese, and a red wine shallot reduction, and the World's Hottest Burger, stuffed with jalapeño and habanero peppers and spicy sauce, then topped with more peppers, jalapeño bacon, tomato, and chipotle aioli and served on a jalapeño bun.

E&O is shaking things up with a special spiced lamb burger for Burger Week, topped with vadouvan aioli, watercress, and mango chutney and served on a toasted scallion bun alongside Kennebec fries.

Hog & Rocks' Robin Song is paying tribute to our great state with his special California Burger for Burger Week. The patty is a mixture of California Wagyu beef and ham, topped with Cowgirl Creamery Wagon Wheel cheese, avocado, and arugula, and served on a poppy-seed challah roll.

Tropically inspired Palm House has created a Trade Winds burger for Burger Week, with Maui onion relish, jerk dijon aioli, and mango ketchup. Pineapple-sugarcane bacon is available as a topping for an extra charge.

The burger geniuses at Roam have concocted a turkey burger, the Turkey Sunny Side, for you non-red-meat folks out there. It's topped with aged white cheddar, caramelized onions, greens, tomato, and sweet chili sauce.

This restaurant may be a magnet for ladies who lunch, but there will be no pinkies raised with their special Estancia beef burger, topped with foie gras, pancetta, cipollini onion jam, and a white truffle-Parmesan cracker. (Do your shopping first, or you may have to go up a size.)

He may be known for his pies, but for Burger Week, Tony Gemignani is making you a burger. The Jameson Burger is a half-pound patty topped with scamorza, white cheddar, caramelized fried onions, applewood smoked bacon, peppadew corn salsa, and a Jameson maple syrup BBQ sauce. It comes with rosemary fries or purple potato chips, and you can get a shot of Jameson with it for an additional $4.

Victory Burger

Get a little sweet and a little salty with Victory Burger's Burger Week creation, topped with balsamic apples, rhubarb, fried pickled red onions, endive, and a balsamic glaze. It's available from Wednesday through next Tuesday.
