A special Southern Italy inspired menu offers four courses of dishes like rabbit saddle wrapped in pancetta and handmade maccaronara pasta with duck sugo, black trumpet mushrooms and duck fat bread crumbs. Tasting menu is $95 per person, with an optional wine pairing for $75.
Camino is offering a hearty, decadent New Year's Eve menu for $85, including Dungeness crab with Chanterelle and Matsutake mushrooms. And, don't forget the Choucroute Royal — the Royale includes truffled boudin blanc, smoked duck sausage and breast grilled in the fireplace, alongside beef fat potatoes, sauerkraut and condiments. And if crab and duck aren't sexy enough, add Perigord truffles for $20. Wine pairings are $45.
All-you-can eat Mexican bites and cheap cocktails await at Comal, which is once again hosting a raucous NYE bash in their outdoor dining area (weather permitting). For $45, you can have your fill of Latin and funk into the wee hours.
The massive first U.S. outpost of the Crystal Jade empire is offering a six-course New Year's Eve menu for $99. Dishes like fried prawns with Beijing-style sauce, roast duck, and sautéed beef tenderloin with sliced garlic will grace the menu, and everyone gets a complimentary glass of champagne.
If you're feeling bored of traditional New Year's Eve fare, both locations of Dosa are offering a four-course prix fixe menu of Indian dishes like squash dosa with ginger, cinnamon, chiles and curry leaves, and Kerala Kuttanadan lobster with a spicy red chile sauce. Starting at 8:30 pm, groove to Indian and Bollywood beats from DJ Jimmy Love. Party favors, a champagne toast and henna tattoos are included as well, for $95 all-in at the Fillmore location ($75 on Valencia). Cozy up by the wood-burning oven at Flour + Water for a five-course tasting menu for $95, with a $70 optional wine pairing. Rustic dishes with seasonal flavors like chestnut agnolotti with pheasant, Dungeness crab with shrimp nduja and brussels sprouts will ring in the new year right.
So, you're not going to make it to Paris in time for New Year's. The next best thing: a four-course Parisian-inspired menu featuring dishes like duck confit with chestnut-vadouvan puree, brandy-scented poached lobster with winter vegetables, and boudin blanc with black truffles. Typically it's best to avoid wandering down dark alleys in downtown San Francisco. This time, a four- or three- course menu awaits you at Gitane. They've got an extensive wine and Sherry list, cocktails and dishes slathered in truffles. A winter chicory salad with truffle tremor cheese and black truffle vinaigrette, or ricotta dumplings with black truffle will end the year with some panache. Hopscotch Restaurant & Bar
Skip the crowds and snag a spot at Hopscotch for a special four-course meal for $75, plus any additional course for $20. Diners can choose their courses from 12 different menu items, including Dungeness crab miso soup with matsutake mushrooms and mitsuba or 36-hour short ribs. Beverage pairings are an additional $45.
Le Marais Bistro & Bakery
Celebrate la nouvelle année at oh-so-French Le Marais, which will be serving up a nine-course menu, complete with a Champagne toast, for just $85. Considering you'll be feasting on oysters, Dungeness crab spaetzle, and butter-poached lobster, that's a solid deal. An earlier meal with six courses, from 6-7 pm, is just $65.
If you're looking for more than just dinner, Lungomare is hosing a Cocktail Gala. for $55 per person, guests will dine on passed hors d'oeuvres and a dinner buffet, plus two dance floors and DJs playing music all night long. Food will be served from 7 pm- 11pm, but cocktails and other booze will be available all night.
Check out Marlowe's shiny new interior and enjoy a four-course menu for $85. Start with a round of their insane deviled eggs for the table, then progress to some lobster. Wine pairings are an extra $45.
While Dungeness crab seems to be on every New Year's menu in town, Maven's takes it to the next level with the addition of uni. Three courses will delight at $49, plus an optional $40 cocktail or wine pairing.

Plin is offering a four-course tasting menu for $95 (and a vegetarian menu for $85). Inventive seafood and pasta dishes like Dungeness crab cannelloni with lime caviar and seafood ceviche are stars of the menu- plus the included glass of Prosecco.

Not into the black-tie soiree situation? Starbelly has a three-course prix fixe with a glass of sparkling for $60, or you can dine a la carte from a menu of special dishes.
