Even as the coronavirus shutdown has trendy restaurants in downtown Sacramento fighting for their lives, food businesses on the other side of town, in working-class South Sacramento, seem to be thriving. Mostly, they’re doing what they’ve always done — serving affordable, often already-takeout-friendly food that’s geared toward people in the neighborhood.
